| Two puppies coming home next week! I haven't posted much in awhile. Some of you may remember that we lost our wonderful puppy, Zani, the day after Christmas to a tragic choking accident. You were all so supportive at that terrible time. My family and I decided that our home needed another puppy, and we picked out our little baby Emmie when she was just four weeks old. Here's the crazy part. Our breeder had a litter of Shih Tzu's born just four days before Emmie. She names all her pups, and one little Shih Tzu boy was named Eli (we picked Emmie's name ourselves). This was "sign" number one, as we have two Yorkies at home named Lucky and Lily. "Sign #2" was that Eli was born on our wedding anniversary. Well, next week, Eli and Emmie are coming home to join our nuthouse! We are so very excited, even though we are still so sad and missing our Zani. My avatar pic is of little Emmie and Eli! Wish us luck, and thanks for being such a great community! |

Little Emmie is just about 1 pound now at 9 weeks, and Eli is almost 2 pounds. Should be fun! I can't wait.

| Oh Congrats on your new little ones You're gonna have lots of love in your house for a very very long time I have two little ones too and it's not that much more work Just be aware that you're going to have to keep both eyes always open and BEWARE of those silent periods also ... in about a month they will be jockeying for alpha position so there might be some heated fights unless there is yelping involved don't sweat it let them sort it out
