| Still Here Hi folks, I am still with you guys on the Yorkie Talk Forum. I am working on getting a new girl pup. I am slowly working on the wife and I know when the times comes and she sees the little imp, it will be a done deal. Ofcourse, I plan on making the little sweety mine. Most of the time our dogs grafitate to me anyway. That could be that I love dogs... especially Yorkies. Well, thanks- John Scull San Diego, CA |

First off I absolutely love hearing a man say/admit they are dog lovers..as for dogs.. they gravitate to the one that loves dogs the most..they just know... and as far as your age goes that is pretty insulting to be told at 61 your over the hill.... I cannot believe that rescue's feel this way.. I would think that finding the right parent would be first and foremost on their mind.. not the age of a person... For non of us know how long we will live on this earth.. so dogs can lose a young parent also... There are babies to be bought from breeders and some depending on where a person lives sell yorkies very reasonable...good luck anne | |

| Hi! and to YT!!!! I think you'd be a great adoptive parent!!!! My hubby is the same way with animals and kids too. I got my first yorkie in December. I thought for sure Chloe was gonna love my hubby more than me....but she goes crazy when I leave the room. I got my boy yorkie last week and thought the same thing. He was a daddy's boy until mommy came around. I hope you find your fur soul mate!!!! I know I have!

| Thank you all for your support. I really do love little doggies and have never had my manhood threatened by owning and loving them. ( I have two grown "people type" kids... so I know it worked!) Anyway, a few years ago, before I retired, I had a gunshop ( no, I am not a nut case... although that may be debatable, depending on who you ask..hee-hee). I used to take Dinkey out for a walk in the morning near my store. One morning a guy said to me, " nice little rat you have there". Well, I looked at him and asked him if he wanted to see a real rat, I would love to show him one. Oddly enough, he just walked off rather quickly. I really do love smaller doggies, and females at that. After I got Dinks, some ten years ago, I fell in love withy the Yorky "attitude" and affection. I truely do have a hole in my heart now, and it does hurt a lot... daily. Thank you all very much again- John Scull MMCS(SS) retired |

I LOVE IT!!!! I'll have to tell my hubby that story!!! He also is a gun man (he's on the Police SWAT team), so I can somewhat understand He wasn't quite accepting of the fact that I wanted a little Yorkie - but since he met her he's changed his view You sound like a riot!!! So happy you're back on YT! Good luck with your new girl pup! Have a great night
