| Any ideas? Last night while I was sewing and my hubby was on the computer in the same room, Prissie came running in like a "bat outta hell", whinning and wanting me to pick her up. When I picked her up, she just kept looking behind her and was clawing at me, so I put her down, she had her tail between her legs and just was running back and forth like she didn't know where to go. She had been on our bed, which is like her safe haven, this is where she goes whenever we have company over and pretty much all the time. Sometimes she would even growl at my other babies when they would get up on the bed. I haven't a clue as to what happened, all the other babies were in the room with us. Now she won't go in the room, and if I put her on the bed, she immediately jumps off and runs out. They, the babies, have a ritual, they have their own room that they sleep in at night. However they like to wake me up around 4a or 5a to go outside and they know when that happens I'll just let them come lay in bed with us till it's time to get up. Well this morning they woke me at 4:30a, I took them outside and they all ran to the room, Prissie included, I put them all on the bed, everyone curled up and went to sleep except Prissie. She just kept pacing up and down the bed looking for a way to get off, my hubby ended up taking her back to the room where she immediately curled up on one of the doggie beds to go back to sleep. This is so unlike Prissie, she is forever trying to sneak in the room when it's time for bed because she wants to lay on our bed. Today she has been napping in the living room. This afternoon I took her to our room, layed down with her on the bed, she sniffed around where she usually lays; she laid down for a minute but as soon as I left the room she was down and out of there. She hasn't been back in there since. I really don't know what happened. I am baffled!! |

| Oh my goodness! Maybe she had a bad dream on bed? You know sometimes us humans have dreams that scare us they seem so real...... Wonder if the same is true for our furbabies....

| that's strange. Are you sure you don't have a ghost in your house that is scaring miko when he eats/drinks and now prissie? Really I don't know but there must have been something that scared her

| I know, you should've seen her...when I picked her up, she just kept looking behind her and was clawing at me like she was trying to get further away from whatever was there. And you know how she loves our bed, she hasn't laid in there since last night. It's crazy. |

| This morning before I left for work, I took Prissie in the bedroom with some treats. I sat her on the bed and gave her treats, she was very interested, then I started playing with her, she was fine for that amount of time. Then I picked her up and put her in their room. I will try that again tonight and just keep trying that till she gets back into her comfort zone. Hopefully it works. |

| We had a breakthrough this morning...after their potty break at 5am, they all came to bed with me, Prissie included. After a couple attempts at finding a place she was comfortable, she ended up curled up on my shoulder sharing my pillow as she always did before and slept the rest of the morning!! And after she had breakfast she wanted back on the bed!! This makes me so happy!! |

| Could she have seen a bug or spider? My parents had a dog who freaked out once in a similar fashion after seeing a spider.
