| Help! Lily is starting to bark! Lily is starting to bark constantly. It's driving us crazy. Does anyone have any suggestions? She's 8 months old.

| The worst thing you can do is to yell or loudly say something like shut up. To a dog it's like you are barking along with them. Is she looking at you and barking for no reason?

| Lola had become a constant barker. The coins in the can never phased her. I took a spray bottle of water out. If she wouldn't stop I would give her a little spray and she would stop instantly. Now I just have to tell her "no barking" and she stops. It takes a while but she got it. |

| She's barking at everything: cats, noises, sometimes it seems for no reason.

| I've had Milo with me a little over a week now. Every time I leave the room he goes ballistic!!! I do that "shhh" sound that Cesar Millan does. It works...he stops right away

| barking I don't know if you've ever watched, "It's Me or the Dog" with Victoria Stillwell. She has great advice. She dittos what was mentioned about yelling at them...they think you are barking with them. I did a food can with a spoon in it. I would walk to where she is barking and say "enough" and hit the can on the inside with the spoon several times. She didn't like it at all. |

| We tried the squirt bottle and it seems like its working! She was squirted 3 times and all I have to say is "no bark" now and she will walk away! Actually, she seems scared of me when I say it, LOL.

| Shhhhhhhhh! I agree with the use of the squirt bottle of water, and a nice stern Shhhhhhhhhh! No barking. Not loud, just like you mean business and are not playing around. Riley learned that way, and even when he wants to , he looks at me and waits for the Shhhhhhh! |
