| Did you try Google maps? Click on the camera icon & it'll give you street view...it's amazing, maybe it'll take you to her front door...literally. So glad to hear that sweet Lexy is doing well & responding to her meds. Good luck to you in shutting this hideous woman's mill down. I don't visit my space, but will visit your's soon.

| What are the signs that it is a puppy mill? Facts not assumptions have to be noted. |

| Sorry I just read through all the threads to see what you are talking about. I also went to her website and has over 6 breeds she does. Now if she doesn't work any other job, then she could be legit. Not to scare you but businesses are not doing well and even vets can dramatize things to get you to come in and run up a big bill. I had a friend have the same thing happen. She took her dog to another vet, and they didn't find anything wrong with her dog but the first vet had her get x-rays and blood work, etc. So it's not only the breeders that need to be watched, it's the vets too. So your dog has gotten better in a weeks time? Sometime coughing could be kennel cough so was she tested for that? |

Yes, she was checked for Kennel Cough...that wasn't it. She did get better once she started the Bronchial Dilator (Aminophylline) daily. The Vet is a personal friend, so no it was not dramatized, we actually have spent less then if we would of taken her elsewhere because she has given us discounts and doesn't charge us the visit fee every time we take her in for a check up or problem. We have seen the xrays ourselves and her blood work has come back normal. If I could fly to Kansas and check her location out I would but it's not possible. That is why I have and am continuing to report her and hopefully someone will find that it is a fact that she is running a puppy mill which is why I always state "possible" puppy mill. Facebook page has been created... Click Here Here is whats been going on if your not keeping up with the MySpace page... MySpace.com - Lexy - 32 - Female - Texas - www.myspace.com/lovelexy2009 UPDATE AS OF 4/25/09: I have had two people already contact me just in the past three days saying they saw I received a sick puppy from Connie as well and they want to help me fight to shut her down. Luckily both these ladies fell in love with their pups as well and are taking as much care as possible to make them better. Unfortunately, both of their dogs have A LOT of the same symptoms Lexy does. I haven't got all the details yet but one owner has already spent over $1500 in Vet bills to make her dog's cough better after 3 months of coughing. I'm not sure if her dog had surgery or what but I will let you know how they are doing as soon as I know. The other pup is still sick and her Mommy is hoping to help her dog feel better so I'm trying to help her and point her in the right direction going by what I've experienced with Lexy and the symptoms they are both having, hopefully she can find a Vet to help her little girl as well very soon. Lexy's health is ok, she is now 3 lbs 9 oz yay and started getting her cough real bad again and started again Thursday on Antibotics, Prednisilone and of course her daily dose of Aminophylline. I caught it before she developed fluid in her lungs thank goodness so hopefully she will feel a lot better by the end of the week. Thanks for all the prayers and everyone who is keeping up with her. Love you all! | |

| I think it is odd that the owner dosn't even mention a health garantee on the website. This is something everyone should ask about first before even asking if there is a puppy available! Especially since Yorkies are so vulnerable to so many genetic disorders, puppy health is the one thing prospective owners should educate themselves about no matter what the breed. |
