| Maybe when you left he started jumping up and down trying to look for you and landed on his leg wrong? Maybe? My little guy jumped off the couch last week and sprained his leg, so that's why I thought of it. I know that's a little different then jumping up and down, but they can jump pretty high! Just a thought. |

| Ya, he's getting there. I took him to the vet and they gave him an anti-inflammatory shot and then some chewable pills to take twice a day for 10 days. But he's walking on it now and will sometimes pick it up when he runs, but for the most part he's back to normal. Is your little guy limping at all? |

| No problem! Just try to keep him off of it till you get to the vet. Good luck and tell us what the vet says! |

| Pippa "stung" her leg before jumping off the couch, she limped and cried for about 2 hours, I even to her to the animal ER, but by the time she was seen she was fine. Give it some time... It will probably get better on their own.

| Ya, I waited 24 hours before I took Lucky to the vet, to make sure he just wasn't being a drama queen as he is most of the time! |

| Hi Kristy Stewie hurt himself once jumping off the couch. After a few hours he was fine. If you dont see improvement in Mason, you should take him in.

| Sounds like it may be some sort of injury. Can you pick him up and try to very lightly press all around his body and see if he cries or yelps when you touch certain areas? They usually do bounce back very fast after a small injury, but as StewiesMom says, if it's not better, it's good to take him into the vet. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Poor baby - I know we need to keep them safe but I learned after watching Cheri that they are also MONKEYS and can climb - I bet he tried to scale the gate and could have landed wrong or maybe twisted something - One day little Cheri climbed our TALLEST baby gate and NONE of our dogs had ever managed that before - They are persistent ! hope he feels better today and yes...they're little drama queens too. |
