| Oh, I'm gonna catch a lot of heat for this - but Bailey sits in my lap and looks out the window. She's soooo good. She just sits there and loves it!!! She looks out the window, then looks at me, then looks out the window again.... I only take her on quick trips to town and back. She loves to go "bye-bye". Yes, I could get a car seat and strap her down - but she'd hate that.

| We take Ryle in the car all the time. We usually just let him sit in our lap or wherever he wants to sit. He really likes to look out the window so he sits on the console, but it is so slippery that we ordered him a car seat today that sits on top of the console. He's gonna love it. WOW, the things we do to keep them happy, but sooooooo worth it for all love you get in return. |

| We have two crates on the back seat of our truck and they are elevated so our spoiled babies can look out the window... |

| When it is just Fiona and I , I put her in her car seat * I will post a picture*, if it my boyfriend and I in the car, she will be on my lap. I don't trust having her in the car alone, since my boyfriend this summer took her for a ride while I was at work, and she turned the AC off, and rolled all the windows down!

| If I am driving and it just me and Leo, I put him in his car seat which still allows him to see out the window. But if it is a short trip and my bf is driving I will let him sit in my lap. |

| It all depends, I do both. I don't have a car seat but I have a buckle that clicks into the seatbelt and it attaches to his leash. He hates being strapped in in any way shape or form. I've tried the crate, the seatbelt thing, etc and he will bark for a while before giving up. I always just ignore him and he's gotten better at it. But if it's not gonna be a long ride, I let him sit on my lap (never after he's been barking though - only after being good and quiet) he's very good on my lap and just sits there and looks out the window.

| We use a snoozer car seat. It is great...... they can see out the window AND are safely secured. Even my hubby will tell you that it was one of the better items purchased for our Yorkies. One of our YT members had an experience with one of the snoozer car seats. She was in an accident and she believes it kept her Yorkie from getting seriously injured. We use harnesses in the car seat..... collars are not recommended at all.

| I purchased a leash by bamboo and it has a seat belt buckle that come out when you unvelcro the cover and when walking the leash extends and the velcro cover turns into a pocket for money or keys. I LOVE IT! I always had a problem with Bentley wanting to go with me and trying to jump out of the car if I were to get out. This way he can reach both windows in the back seat, but he cant get upfront to interfere with my driving and he cant jump out when I get out. Bentleys leash is the smaller one, my friend has a pomeranian and she bought the 6ft one and she loves it also. Ironically her 6ft has shorter "buckled in" length than mine does. I got it at petco and they have sales on them pretty regularly. Hope this helps! Kristen & Bentley |
