♥ Mama's Boy ♥ Donating Member | Dog Park Vent OK this is my first vent on here. Tobie and I went to the dog park today as we do on Fridays. Well today, there was a baby yorkie there about 14 months old, he was hiding in the dog tunnel scared to death. A big dog got in the tunnel and trampled him so I clamed in to the tunnel to get him out and was holding him, poor thing was sooo matted and you could not even see his eyes. I was asking people if he belonged to them and they all said no. I was looking for the owner when a guy came up and was and said he was his and I asked what his name was and he said "I don't know, its my girlfriends". I asked him if he wanted him because he seemed so scared and he said "just put him down, he will get use to it", and I told him that he should watch him because of the other big dogs could hurt him. So the guy just took the poor thing and was gripping him like a football with the puppy by his side. Well I took Tobie to get some water and when I came back the poor baby was just lying down by the side of the tunnel and looked so sad. So I pick the puppy back up and was looking for the guy again! Well he was to busy playing with the other dogs that were not even his dogs! When he left he was holding the poor baby the same way like a football. I don't even what to think about how he treats him when no one is around; it just makes me so mad! I couldn't do anything because he wasn't hurting him but he wasn't caring for him the way he should be. It just mad me so mad and I felt so powerless to help the puppy. |

| WOW! That is HORRIBLE! GOOD FOR YOU FOR SAYING SOMETHING! People like that shouldn't be aloud to own animals, I would have called the SPCA or something! What a poor baby.

♥ Mama's Boy ♥ Donating Member | When I got in the car I just started to cry I wanted to kick the guy in the balls! I don't understand what the girlfriend was thinking letting her boyfriend take her dog or if she even cares. |

| Oh, how sad! That poor puppy probably doesn't even have all his shots yet and shouldn't even be at the dog park. It sounds like he was scared to death. |

Wrigley is only 9 months old and as far as I know has all of his shots. At least all that he needs at this time. When are the puppy shots suppose to stop? I hope the girlfriend treats him a little more kindly than he was.

I don't understand how the boyfriend didn't even know the dogs name. Why even have a pet then?

| I would have stuck him in my coat and taken him home. That guy probably would not have missed him. How mean!
