| Bows for boys? I know I've seen a thread like this before somewhere, but I'm lazy and don't feel like searching. All of you that have little boy yorkies, what do you put in their hair? I really don't want to put bows in Baxter's hair; he would be so insulted! But I do want to tie his hair back, it gets in his eyes sometimes! I know you could us a rubberband, but isn't there some time of product made 'specially for yorkie's hair that I could buy so it won't get tangled? Thanks for the advice in advance!

| We have a little boy and at first we didnt do bows because people called him a girl but....they do anyway...so I decided wth and made him some BOY bows. I put little footballs, soccer balls, baseballs etc. and bones and paws on them and use plainer ribbon and he looks adorable in them. As long as he can see he doesnt care nor do I what people think lol. Lots of times though we just use the black bands and they dont show just hold hair out of his eyes. |

| Mom to Hot Rod, those pics are just adorable! I tried pulling back Baxter's hair today, but I don't think it's long enough. Plus, he is only four months old, so I'm assuming his hair isn't fully done growin. I will try all of your advice though and just use blue or black bands or even bows. Quote:
I can't wait for Baxter's hair to get longer so I can start putting some bows and bands in his hair!

| Target has tiny schrunchies (sp?) in the baby section that both my mom and I use...granted they have some girl colors, but they also have white, blue, red, purple, etc. I like them because they are easy on Max's hair...I also just use bands... I get it a lot too with people always thinking he's a girl! haha, I guess because they are little they just assume...but if Max and I are going out for the day, I also put boy bows on him - it was hard for me to find a good amount of boy bows, so I just decided to start making them as well - not too difficult, and hobby lobby has some cute charms and buttons to decorate with! |

| There is a picture of Laddy in my album with one of the bows and my avatar he has a black band which as you can see is barely visible another thing we do also is buy the buttons shaped like different boy things and thread the bands through them and use them they make really cute scrunchies that way. I use the small latex bands for this also so that I can cut the bands out at night before he goes to bed Last edited by nanahas3; 03-06-2009 at 11:05 PM. |

| I just started using the NON-latex bands and I love them!!! Max has a lot of boy bows and some plain satin ones. If you look at the Yorkies being shown - they all wear bows... mostly red. I have black, white, red and gold that way both of mine can wear the same colors with their matching outfits. I have some pictures in my album of him wearing the satin bows.
