| I found a Yorkie a home! I had the best experience today! Courtney's boss and his wife have been wanting a yorkie for quite a while. When Courtney first told me, I told her to tell him not to buy a yorkie from just anyone and that we would help him find a good breeder (not easy in Mississippi) or a rescue. So I've kinda been keeping my eye out for the perfect yorkie for his home. Well anywho... this morning I was perusing the Pets section of Craigslist Jackson and found an ad for an adorable male yorkie that was being rehomed for $100! I emailed the lady and Courtney got her in touch with her boss and now he's going to pick up his new little boy at 6 tomorrow night! We are so excited for him. Now Jamie and Beau have another Yorkie friend. It makes me feel so good inside knowing that I helped this cute little boy find the perfect forever home.

| Good job! Here in NW Washington, the authorities raided a puppy mill in a nearby town. The owners of these over 400 pups, moms and dads of all breeds finally relinquished ownership of them so they are now all up for adoption. I heard today that there are about 70 purebred Yorkies. Wish I could adopt them all but now that they are in good hands, they will all go to good homes. Myrna - aka Tiki's Mom |
