| I've noticed something funny on YT There are dogs on here on YT who have the same name of each of my human kids. There is a Garrett, a Lane, and at least one Jackson. Have you all found your kids' names in the dog names also? |

| LOL. I didn't go looking but my sons names are not all that common, at least I didn't think so, so they sorta jumped out at me when I see them posted. |

| Well mine take the cake: Chloe and Emma. Right after Chloe was born we met five or six dogs named Chloe -- seems to be more popular for dogs than people. Just read about an Emma on here tonight. Never found one for my oldest -- Danielle.

| Mine are Bubba and Sissy. Maybe nicknames but I don't think anyone has skin kids with those names.

| Hummmm..... I often see my son's Cody. It seem to be a popular one years back. However, I've never heard anyone name their pup Stephanie. Has anyone else? I'm curious about your son Garrett. Did you chose it because it's a family name or because it's such a strong and handsome sounding name? I gotta share my store for naming my GP, Garrett. Growing up I had a GP, Buffie, she was my best friend in every sense of the meaning. We lived in a rural neighbor hood named Garrett's Run. As teenagers we were referred to by rival towns as the Garrett's gutter gang (though we were not a gang in today's meaning of that term). After she died I couldn't get another for fifteen years. When I got Garrett I knew what I had to name him right away. Anyone else have name stories to share?

| Yes, I have family members and several friends with the same name as a lot of the Yorkies on this site. Example, Thor, Maya, Chase, Baxter, Max, Ellie, Jamie, Shannon, Sammy and Angela...to name a few!!

| Mia and Lucia My eldest daughter is called Mia and I've seen quite a few yorkies here with that name.....my other daughter is called Lucia. I haven't seen a yorkie with that name, but I've seen it suggested as one in a thread before......I think they both make great names for a pretty yorkie princess!

| I have a daughter who is pregnant with her 3rd child (my 3rd grandbaby) and we just found out it is a boy. I have 3 adult daughters and my oldest has 2 little girls so there is a lot of Estrogen around our home (I totally feel sorry for my DH). I actually got male dogs to even out our numbers. We are very excited to haved this little boy come into our lives. Well my youngest granddaughter is pretty insistent that we call the baby Samson, which is the name of my oldest dog. So she is trying to name the baby after the dog. (although a couple of weeks ago she wanted to name he baby "Jack the Donkey"). Thankfully she will not be in charge of naming this baby!!
