| FHO experience Anyone with experience with FHO surgery, I was wondering if you remember the time table for rehabilitation? My Dr. said 6 weeks she should be back to normal, but when should I start noticing her starting to use her leg again?? It's been about 3 weeks...I am just nervous she'll never use it again

| When mine had it done, it did take awhile for her to use that leg. Every dog is a bit different though. It has been almost 2 years now and she still does not use that leg when she runs. I don't really know if it gives her pain or if it is just quicker to not use it. Are you doing any of the rehabilitation exercises? |

| I didn't like doing it either - it does help though. Do you take her for walks? Sometimes if they go for walks on a leash, they can walk slowly and then will use the leg more. |
