| Is It a dog? Does any one ever get asked if their yorkie puppy is a dog? I know prudence is small 5 1/2 months and 3 pound but I was in a big store the other day I went in and asked them if I could bring my puppy in as I will never leave her in the car and the manager was great and said yes but when I got up to the checkout the lady behind the counter said "is that a dog" and If my daughter hadn't been standing there I would have said sarcasticly "no its a rabbit" gosh the nerve of some people, the worst part is she wasnt being smart she really didnt know what she was. | I ALWAYS get that, especially because Coco is so small. I always make a smart a** remark back because THEY STARTED IT!!! So when they say "Is that a dog", I say "Well she's not purring, she doesn't have wings, gills, or a bushy tail, so I guess she is."

| One time someone asked me if Rowdy was a guinea pig!!! I will say though, that he had his ears down and it was when he was pretty young (and little) so I guess he sorta looked like one, to her. But not to me, of course! I just laughed and said, "Nope, he's my baby Yorkie!" |

| Yup. People are so weird. I think they believe they are being funny, but it's not. I get upset when members of my family tease me about my "rat-dog" or my mini-dog. I shouldn't, I guess, but I just wish my darlin would go bite em sometimes.

| I think some people haven't ever seen a tiny yorkie and probably really don't know if it IS a dog. It's surprising to me just how many people don't know what kind of dogs they are. I'm always happy to answer questions about my dog and unless they are being rude or snotty, I would never think of being rude to them for showing interest in my yorkie. |

| I have had folks ask if Macy was a rat! To me before grooming she looks a little like a mop!
