| ♥ Keeping collars on inside house ♥ Does anybody keep their Yorkie's collars on when they are resting/in the house? I always take my baby's off in the house - she's very responsive and wouldn't do anything as to why I would need the collar on in the house. And it's probably more confortable for her (not mentioning that I don't want her diamonds to drop out of it lol) xXx

| I dont put collars on mine at all. Ive got a couple cute ones but I worry they will get caught on something. Also my front and back yard is fenced so I dont worry about mine getting out of the yard

| Missy doesn't own a collar. As far as her harness, she only wears it when I want to use a leash.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | What if your yorkie runs out of the house? Bella always wears a cheap collar, and when she goes places I put her swarskowsi (or however you spell it) collar on

| All mine wear collars with a brass heart engraved with their names and my telephone number. My property has a masonry wall all the way around it, and a walled courtyard with dog-proof gates set into the arches out front. No matter how you approach my house, you have to go through at least two gates or doors to reach the outside...and still, my Maltese have managed to get out twice in the four years I have lived here! And those brass tags are how I got them back. When Puddin' is big enough to have free roam of the house, she will also wear a collar and tags (she had a cat collar with a bell right now so we can keep track of her). It is just too easy for them to do something unexpected and end up out there!

| Both of mine wear collars all the time. They go in and out all day long so it isn't convenient to take them off when they come back inside. Our contact number is on their tags just in case they were to escape from the backyard.

| She hardly ever runs out the door and she never ever runs off - it's frustrating in a way because when she's off lead in an enclosed area outdoors, like on a field or something, she will not under any circumstances leave my side, she's always been like that. I want her to explore and sniff things like normal dogs, she's just too shy/timid to do so. Even when dogs walk past she doesn't care. Her collar is for special outings only, such as Nanas, she has a harness for everyday walks xXx

| I keep Callies on all the time expect bathtime and when its drying from me washing it. She has a doggy door so she goes outside a lot and is something where to happen like the gate someone came open I would want her to have her tags on if she got out plus she used to run out the front door and if for some reason she got out of sight or lost I would want her tags on her plus I can here wear she is with the jingle of the tags and it lets me know when shes coming or if shes getting into trouble lol.

| I put Zoeybear's and Callie's back on today. I read the thread where Yoshi has gone missing with no collar. Both mine are microchipped, but that could take time. Both mine have id tags that say ("Im lost call mommy" + my phone number) No one ever thinks their dog will get lost, but what if... I only buy break away collars in case they get hung up. These are usually sold as Kitten collars.

| Dolly wears a necklace (her name engraved on the front of the heart and my phone # engraved on the back) instead around the house. I got it for her at things remembered (length of human bracelet works perfect for her tiny neck). its very lightweight and sturdy(made of silver, easy to clean), definitely break away as well. although I highly doubt the chance of her taking off on her own, she's even afraid to go downstairs by herself but you never know, in case of a hurricane or something, better to be safe than sorry
