| We had a big scare yesterday!!! Thank God for Katie I am disabled with a bunch of health issues. Yesterday, I woke up early and took my baby chloe with me to the kitchen to give it a good deep clean. My son's Lab had 9 puppies...They are 3wks old and took up residency in our kitchen, with their mama. Chloe played with them, oh my gosh it was so cute!!! (I will have to video tape this and post it for you to watch). Chloe is 21wks, they are about the same size as her... Well, I finished up the kitchen and desparately needed to lay down for awhile. My daughter Katie offered to clean the bathroom for me...She is 15yrs old and a Godsend!!! She has always been the mothering type. She tries to mother everyone!!! She is so helpful to me...She cooks and cleans. Just like a little mama Well, she came running into my room with the toilet cleaner and was hysterical! She mixed it with bleach in the toilet!! She said the smell was really bad!!! I jumped out of bed and told her to open all the windows. I went to the kitchen and started hauling out all the puppies to our back yard. Katrina finished and then helped me. We also have 4 little dogs( 2 poms and 2 scotties) We got all the dogs safely outside. Katie started having a reaction to the chemical. Her skin was burning and she felt woozy. I took her to the ER and they gave her a breathing treatment, oxygen and steroids. She is doing much better. We are home and everying turned out ok. She feels so bad. I keep telling her that I am just glad she is okay... Things could have been much worse.

| She is so wonderful. She even quit going to high school to do home schooling. Just so she can be here to help me. She is so driven. I could never had been disciplined enough to do home schooling! I wish I could clone her.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | OMG how lucky you all were and that now everyone is OK. Dummy me did that one time - forgot my husband used cleanser in the toilet and then I used bleach..OMG the chemical fumes were terrible. My eyes were burning and I was coughing so bad. Thank goodness we have a window in the bathroom so I was able to open that and then close the bathroom door so the fumes would not go out in the hallway. What a way to learn a lesson.
