| HUMANE SOCIETY finds ATROCIOUS puppy mill in Missouri, PLEASE READ!! Hello everyone, Just wanted to share something with everyone. Watching Oprah this morning she had a segment on a yorkshire terrier puppy mill in Missouri. They brought some of the doggies on the show. Please be aware that the link will take you to Missouri humane society website and it will not be a pretty picture. Humane Society of Missouri - http://www.hsmo.org: Humane Society of Missouri You can read more about the story. It is heartbreaking. Hopefully all those beautiful animals will get adopted and in the mean time we can make donations to get them rehabbed and placed into loving homes. This just made me think how spoiled my Mishko is. Perhaps every time we reach for that extra toy at the store we should think about such incidents and donate that money. We are animal lovers and lets keep our hearts open. Alma

| Horrible! What dispicable human beings to be abusing those poor dogs in such a way. I am so glad these videos were created and youtubed. People need to be more aware of what they are supporting when they purchase an animal from a petstore. I refuse to spend ONE CENT in a shop that sells puppies. These videos seriously made me cry. Such a sad, sad existance for those poor dogs. I hope the puppymill owners get what's coming to them.

| You know I really really dont understand how those people can walk out there and just not see what is happening. How they can breed these poor dogs and keep them caged and neglect them and barely give them any care at all and just go back into their houses and eat food and drink and take a bath and climb into a soft bed at night without a thought of these dogs. I seriously wonder what kind of *human* is capable of such things. What kind of childhood did they have? How do they treat their own children? I have a puppy mill rescue. An older girl probably around 10 or 11...Only has 2 teeth left now. I have had her since June. I still cant get her housebroken. She had no idea of what being petted or loved was. I have witnessed her drink water from her bowl only twice. Of course she drinks, but wont allow you to see her do it? I still have to feed her around the corner from the kitchen where no one can see her while she eats. Any loud noise will cause her to jump and run. She trusts no one but me and only my husband a little. She now absolutely ADORES me. She loves me..She trusts me..The housebreaking is a PAIN and frustrating but just to see her face when I come home or to watch her actually RUN in the grass is worth everything else. I would choose her all over again given the chance. It is a very rewarding experience. Challenging..but rewarding nonetheless. |

| I was at my sisters in AR when this happened. I dont see how anyone can be so heartless. It is good to see the little faces coming out in the pics where they are being groomed. I wish I could get my hands on the owners of the mill.

| I don't understand why puppy mills are even allowed, I don't know much about them myself but they definately should be illegal. Even the 'well-kept' ones shouldn't be allowed, as it's just creating more and more unwanted, abandoned and cruelty cases for people, they should adopt instead of buy from breeders/puppy mills/pet stores as they all need loving, caring homes just as much xXx |

| I can think of a couple of reasons why the brokers, puppy mill owners, and whoever else is involved in this horrible treatment of animals, but that gives them an excuse..and there are no excuses for this kind of evil |
