| How old is your current yorkie? And how long have you had the current yorkie. If you have a new puppy & want to get a second, there shouldn't be much of a problem. A dog that is more established as an only dog may need more time to welcome a new member to the house. I have never been through this process with dogs - just cats. I know this process can take a few days

| I'm thinking of gettin a second too, it mainly depends on the 'original' dog's personality and how he/she is with other dogs, I think. My girl is really great with dogs same size as her, and she is fairly quiet, so I think she'd be ok with a newcomer xXx |

| Since Snickers is 5 years old, you may want to introduce them on neutral territory. Give them a chance to check each other out and perhaps play with one another. They may not interact much at first. I would bring some treats - so they can share in a common activity. Once you bring the new pup home, be sure to set aside special time to just be with Snickers so he still feels important.
