♥ Mama's Boy ♥ Donating Member | Do your baby's do this? Today my mom is coming to see us, and I was cleaning the house and it seems like everytime I turn around Tobie has gotten another toy out, when I make the bed Tobie likes to stand at the end of the bed and bite my fingers and try to get under the sheets just to mess it up! Once is made with all the pillows on it he likes to roll around on top of them and make them fall on the floor. He is such a mess! Do your little ones to this to when you are trying to make the bed or clean up?? |

| Gracie is very interested in the pile of dirt that develops when I sweep. She'll follow me around the room, watching the broom closely, even moving her head back in forth as the broom moves back in forth. Then when I get to the pile I always tap the broom on the floor a couple of times to dislodge anything that might be clinging to the bristles. She'll get all stiff and at attention and seriously stare at the broom. As soon as I move off to start sweeping in another area, she'll study the pile very closely and even paw at it to see things better. I'm not sure if she is upset that all the wonderful dirt, twigs, grass and dustbunnies that she has been collecting are being rounded up from the 'proper places'. Or if she maybe doesn't see the dirt too clearly until I tap the broom and it magically apprears. Either way, I usually have to lock her out of the room I'm sweeping because she scatters the pile faster then I can sweep it up.

| My little ones are like that after a bath. If you play tugs with Tobie, maybe he is taking the opportunity thinking you will play tugs! Do you keep lots of toys out for him? If you do, try limiting to maybe 3 and rotate every week. He'll think he's getting new toys and you have less of them to pick up. If only we could get them to put their toys away!! |

| If that is his toy box, I would maybe put them somewhere else that he won't see them. I keep a basket with toys that they can pick the one they want to play with (4 toys for the 2 boys) and keep the rest in a cabinet. They get very excited when that cabinet opens, and I take the other toys to the laundry room to be washed. |

| My two are comical. They take all their toys out of their toy box daily. When I get home I say CLEAN UP TIME and I proceed to put all their toys back into their box, all the while they are watching me do it knowing that as soon as I put it down, they will empty it again. It's a daily routine, I really think they enjoy it.

| Suzi feels like it is play time when I clean up .She also is good about getting into everything she can and makes her own messess Suzi knows how to jump on our kitchen chairs and if there is anything on the table she tries to reach.... we have to be very careful not to leave anything within her reach. We also have to keep bedroom doors closed and the bathroom! It is like child proofing our home .

| I usually chase Cash out of the room when I have to clean because he is just so interested in what I do. But he knows the routine by now, he gets off the bed when I start making it, he gets on the couch when I vacuum. But sometimes he will go right up to what I am doing (like cleaning the windows) and he will lick it. But the most terrible of it all is his fascination with our garbage bin!!!!!

| The girls have a wooden toy box and when we put everything away to sweep, they get so upset. They go and drag everything out and spread it around! If you have a pile of laundry, they go and grab a piece at a time and run away with it! Funny little things!

| lol that's kinda cute. Mine doesn't do this but he absolutely hates loud noises. One time my husband got out his small air compressor to use the brad nailer for some molding. Danger couldn't even get up on the couch on his own yet, but he managed to jump up on me and curl up on my lap cause he was so scared. It sounds like though he is just fighting for your attention.
