| It's MINE! Anybody having your puppies trying to hide things? I was in my house the other day and I heard one of my puppies crying Usually that means trouble so I ran inside to see what was the matter My Mike was looking at me like .... Okay what's up? But my Zack was walking around the living room with his favorite squeaky toy .... it's a little yellow Giraffe and he was going from palce to place crying as he was doing this He was actually trying to find a hiding place for it He went into each corner and pushed the toy there until he saw that it didn't work Then he tried to get up on the couch ... nope not tall enough I watched him for like ten mins Do you guys see this in your dogs?

| Mine do that, too. I want to help them find a hiding spot, but it's more fun to watch them find one.

| Maisie ocassionally likes to 'bury' her food in a corner, yeah. She doesn't cry whilst doing so though. Perhaps Zack was feeling under pressure to hide it before Mike took it off him?! lol

| :) Yes! Peanut does that alllllll the time, Im not kidding he does it at least 3 times a day with his favortie bone of all time!! Its so funny its this little bone no longer than my hand and its fabric, it use to squeeke, but he has had it since he was about 4 months. There was this stuffed animal toy that my brothers dog "grace" ( min pin) ate all the stuffing out of it so, she didnt like it anymore and there was this bone attached to it..so I took the bone off and it has been his FAVORITE!!! You can say " peanut wheres your bone" or "go get your bone" and he will know what to grab and bring it to you. Sometimes I see him walking all around the house and looking for something and he looks all stressed out, thats when momma has to help him find where he last put it He was trying to hide his bone last night at its soo funny to watch, I will have to try to get it on video, but here is peanuts steps to bury his bone 1. Pace around the house for about 15 mins crying and looking stressed out, for a place to bury it. 2. OHH look he found a place... he sniffs at the spot for a second, drops his bone scratches around, nope he didnt like that place he changed his mind. 3. Oh this spot is perfect on the couch in the throw blanket, he digs a hole for his bone. 4. He places his bone in the hole...so perfect and gentle. 5. With his 2 front feeties he moves around the blanket so it is covered better ( dont tell peanut it never really is) 6. This is so cute when he does this. He takes his nose and pushes the bone down into his hole!! He does that about 4 to 5 times. 7. Then he takes his head and pushes the blanket around the bone trying to really get it hidden. ( dont tell peanut, but this whole times the bone is still on top of the blanket in full veiw!) 8. Then he shakes and looks around at momma and dad and walks away. Thats how peanut burys his bone! He does this 7 step bone hidding game about 3-5 times a day They are so sweet I just wanted to share I know some of you will get a kick out of it

Thor's Human Donating Member | I always felt bad when I had to pick up the towels or clothes, thereby revealing his treasure. I would try to wait a couple hours so he could feel sneaky for a while at least.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Oh, and one time, he knocked over a big stack of business papers I had on the floor and pushed all the paper under the furniture. He was quite an industrious dog.

| YES, Suzi hides her bones all over the place ! Then in the middle of the night she goes and gets one, and chews it in my room ! I have watched her go and get her treasure from the perfect hiding spot, behind the shelf, behind the sofa, inside the sofa, under the coffee table under the blanket , anywhere she thinks her prize is safe LoL no other dogs to compete with either .
