| How to Introduce to new dog? Ok...so how do I introduce Leah to our newest dog? We had 2 dogs when Kayla just got her and the intro went good. But we had to put our Dalmation down in Oct. and got a St. Benard puppy, named Brie in Nov. Well Brie was very excitable and liked to "chew" on everything and I was scared she could have hurt Leah so I've pretty much tried to keep them apart. Well by doing this I've gotten Leah scared of Brie and now she just growls at her. (I'm always holding Leah when Bries out and Brie will jump trying to see what i have) Brie has calmed down alot and now I'm wondering how do i get the two together? Summer's coming and I don't want to worry the whole time. We have cats and Brie just licks them, so I'm figuring that what I think was chewing on them is really just loving them. I probably should have not waited so long, huh? Of course Leah's not at our house alot but when she does come I dont want it to be an issue. Oh by the way, Leah is 3 lbs and Brie is 75 now! Help |
