| Lexi's Visit to MALL OF AMERICA we are in the process of moving from washington to Columbus, MS and on our way we have made many stops...mostly bc of the hurrican to kill time so we don't run into katrina. We stopped at mall of america a few days agaon and lexi came with us. While in the GUESS store one of the girls who worked there saw lexi in her carrier and the next think i knew she was out of her carrier and was being passed around by three girls at the cash register. i ususally do not bring her out and flaunt her around(i think that is mean to your pup to be man handles by others) but after bing in the car for 8 hours we wanted to take a walk around and stretch our legs. it was a good trip and lexi got to go to the park afterwards. just wanted to let everyone know we are still on the road and lexi is doing great, she is a great traveler. love laura and lexi

| Hi Lexi'sMom - I just bumped up a post from you because someone asked we anyone had heard from you. It certainly is great to see you post and to know you, Lexi, and your family are safe! It sounds like Lexi was the hit of the mall. I know what you mean - when we have Rowdy out and about, it seems that EVERYONE wants to hold and play with him. I took him to my aunt's assisted living apartment complex last week and it took me 30 minutes to get in and out of there. Every resident who saw Rowdy wanted to hold and talk to him and pet him. I was glad to oblige and so was Rowdy! |

| we are doing great, no telling how our belongings faired but they are just belongings right? We get on the road again today in about an hour, to finish up our drive to mississippi. Think and pray for us, and all the others who are dealing with the devistation. We just hope once we get there on base we have a place to stay, and we make it safely...we have a long road ahead of us. tell everyone we are fine, but do not know when we will be back on line since there is no electric. thank you again, lexi sends lots of love and wet kisses she has been so great...we adore her

I'm so glad that you guys weren't in the middle of this awful storm. I hope that there is not too much devistation on the base when you get there. Just have a safe trip.

| I am happy to hear also that you were not in the storm. And i was also going to post regarding other people handling your pup. Yesterday i had my 2nd puppy class with Chanel. And we actually sat in circles of 4 and switched puppies. To make your puppy comfortable with others. that way your pup is not the type to bark and growl everytime she sees a stranger.(which at times i know its good, when its a REAL stranger u know.) but you dont want her being like that when guest come to the house. Please let us know how your situation is when you get back home. GOD i hope its ok. |
