| rabies shot Bad reaction Hows anyone else had a problemwith the rabies shot?Bear haad no problems with the first sho however the next ,he screamed at the top of his lungs for 1/2 an hour began to shake out stated to drool.We stayed at the vets for about 11/2 hours till he calmed down.He was out of it for about 3 days.the following week Brittany went for her rabies shot and also had a bad reaction not as bad as Bears.So now they are both medically exempt.anyone hear of this. |

| Wow.... Did you think that the rabies vival of serum might have been bad??? Do you know if it came out of the same bottel??? Do you know if any of the vet's other clients had any reaction to the rabies shot??? I know you must have been worried sick for you babies. Wish I had some insight on this, but I have never experience this with my babies. Hope all is well now.

| Stewie had a horrible reaction to the rabies vaccines. He was 6 months old when he got it. I thought I was going to lose him I think only a small percentage of Yorkies have a reaction. He's NEVER getting another one.

| You guys are scaring me. Lacy's rabies shot is due in two days. This will be her second one. I hope she does OK with it. |

| I'm sooo sorry to hear that. I'm sure the vets know how to take care of it. I hope your baby is feeling better. Archie, late yorkie befor Otis, had a terrible reaction. He had diarrhea, barfing, and was just plain sick. Otis had a bad reaction too, he had a bump for over two years now, and he lost hair at the shot site. I told the vet every time we had a visit to check his shot site, and i want to get Otis exempt from rabies ever again, but they say a bump and hair loss is no excuse. |
