| What games do you play with your baby? I am always on the lookout to find new things to play with Wookie. The only thing he ever seems to want to play is tug of war! He LOVES the rubber squeaky balls that I get from Petsmart, but he brings them to me to play tug of war with. He will chase after them if I manage to get them from him and throw them, but he brings them back and wants to tug!!! He will play with his other toys, he loves to squeak the ones that will, but inevitably, we will end up playing tug with them!! I did start doing the hiding the treat under a cup game, but he only wants to play that for a few mins. I play hide and seek with him, but again, that only lasts a few mins. I don't want to play too many games with treats because we are watching his weight! LOL So what do you guys play that we could try?

| Yorkies LOVE tug of war ..... It's part of their breeding Yorkies were bred to be ratters..... They were employed in factories and farms in England to kill rats and mice and a quick way dogs use to kill a small animal I know it's gross ... but true they pull at either end to tear it in two That's also why they like squeaky toys .....

| Buster wants to play fetch from the moment he gets up in the morning until it's time to go to bed. When I get home from work, he hops at my feet for me to pick him up and give me a lick, and then when I put him down he runs and finds a toy. He can play fetch for hours without getting bored. But he does like to tug on his toys. I tell him I won't play fetch with him unless he drops his toy for me and then lets me pick it up without him trying to get it. If he reaches for it too soon, I give a quick "no!" and then look up at the ceiling for 10 seconds or so. Eventually he gets the idea, there's no tug of war, and it's a lot of fun! |

| Buddy's favorite at this time is "Find It". I will make him sit in the living room and stay and hide a couple pieces of kibble somewhere out of site in another room. I come back to the LR and release him and he's goes wild "Finding It" somewhere in the other part of the house. He loves the challenge and usually finds it right away. Then we start again. He never tires of this game. |

Ok, how do you get him to go find it? I have tried hiding things with Wookie and when I tell him to go find it, he just sits there. I would think he could use his sense of smell to figure out that there is something hidden, but he looks like he doesn't understand.

Start hiding a treat close to him and release him saying find it. When he does go alittle farther hiding the treat. It won't be long before he get's it then you can go anywhere in the house and hide it. It took Buddy two day's to get it and it's been nothing but fun since. Yorkie's love a challenge. They never seem to tire of them. | |

| My Husband and I play Hide and seek with Biggie. Hubby and I each have treats in our hands and we spread out throughout the house. One of us shouts, "Biggie where are you?" while the other person finds a place to hide. Whe he finds the person who called him, that person shouts with joy and give him the treat. That shout is also the queu for the other person to start the game over and shout "Biggie Where are you?" It is a fun game..he loves it. It also helps get rid of some energy in a fun way. After 10 times up and down the stairs he is ready for a nap. |

| Tug of war with my socks, panties, bras and my flip flops... im trying to get him to play with his ropes but i think he know i really dont want the rope so he doesnt play as long but if its in the morning and i really need my sock than he is playing tug of war with it..lol we also started playing a game with these 4 different color balls....i roll them down the hallway he chases them and tries to put all four in his mouth... but realizes he cant so he guards them until i chase him around the house for the one he has in his mouth and he can play this game forever... He likes fetch in the park as well.. i love playing games with him he makes me laugh at how smart he is!

| Boo will play a sort of Tag/Hide-n-Seek type game. I'll run out of the room and around a corner. He'll come running after me and I'll jump out and holler Gottcha and start laughing. He'll turn and burn in the other direction and find a corner to hide around. I'll run after and him and he'll jump out from around the corner and bark. And so the game goes. It's really cute to see him peeking around the corner as I'm coming at him. Gracie Ruth plays a type of Fetch/Soccer game. She'll bring me a squeaky toy, stand by my feet and squeak it a gazillion times then drop it right in front of me. Then she'll back off a few steps and crouch down on her front end. I'm to try and kick the toy by her. She'll usually be able to jump in front of it and 'catch' it. If I happen to get it by her she'll run after it and either way she'll bring it back to me, squeaking it a gazillion times again and we start it all over again. Yogi loves to play with toys, loves to play with is sister, but isn't so much into playing with me. I've started 'smiling' at him when we are sitting on the couch watching tv. I'll look over to him and give him a big smile Then I'll turn back to the tv. I'll do it again in a few seconds and try to not die laughing because the look on his face is priceless. He cocks his head and perks up his ears. I'll smile real big again he'll cock his head in the other direction and give a little "woof". I'll do it again , and he bumbles over to me, climbs up me so that we are nose to nose and start giving me kisses. I'm laughing like crazy by now and he'll yammer at me, rub his head on my face, climbs off and goes lay back down. In a minute I'll start the whole thing over. The look on his face you can hear him say, "Poor Momma's had a hard day and has lost her mind. I go give her some kisses to make it better." Here's my little lover, Yogi.
