| My yorkie's a bomb sniffer? This evening I took Prada up to OU's campus to go for a walk (she's in heat so we can't go to the puppy park). We were walking and she was doing great on her leash, sniffing everything and being the curious little pup she is! We were walking between two large building on campus when she wouldn't come, she buried her head in some shrubs and wouldn't come on! When I walked to her I found she was sniffing around this half buried, hidden duffle bag. It didn't look right to me at all, so I called OUPD and told them what she's found. They came and took our information and made us stay for quite awhile. They crime taped it all off. They told us it was probably nothing and thanked us for calling, but about an hour later when I drove by they'd completely shut off the roads on the north side of campus and the bomb squad was still there! Cops were posted all over the place and we couldn't drive in to see! I wish there was a way for me to know what happened, but for know, our Prada's a hero!

| That is really cool that she sniffed that out. I think these dogs are farrrrrr more intelligent than most people give them credit for.

| Fortunately/unfortunately I found out it was just a bag of clothes! Hahah, but I swear it looked suspicious, I wouldn't have even called if it looked like someone had just dropped their backpack. She's still a hero in my book! And it makes for an exciting walk if I've ever heard one! Hahah, but now I feel lame because its a false alarm. So I guess the answer to the question in the title is "No, not a bomb sniffer." Hahah.

| Hmmm! I wonder why Prada found it so interesting? And why would someone dump a bag of clothes, you said they were half hidden/buried? Maybe somewhere down the line she could well be a hero if those clothes are evidense in a crime? At least thats what you could tell her, so she is not too disappointed that it was a false alarm

| Don't diminish the fact that there wasn't a bomb in the backpack. We all have to be vigilant these days. Better to call attention and it turn out to be nothing, then to walk on by saying, let someone else worry about it, then hear later that it was a bomb and people were hurt. I think Prada did great and deserves a big hug and extra cookies. I'm sure she thinks so too!
