| This may sound silly but How do you measure for clothing? Do you use a normal tape measure? |

| Not silly at all. I use a tape measure and measure around the neck, around the chest area and the length from the neck to the tail. There are illustrations on some of the web sites that sell clothes. I hope this helps some.

| I use a soft/cloth type tape measure, not a regular metal or plastic one which are hard to curve around the body. I believe you can find the type I use in the crafts or sewing sections of most stores.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | If you don't have a cloth tape measure on hand, use a ribbon as your tape measure, and then hold it against a ruler to get the measurement number. In making or purcashing dog clothing, the girth measurement (just behind the front legs) is the one that is so critical. Most of the patterns I've ever used, the neck measurement is always adequate and the length can usually be adjusted easily enough.
