| Size varies from dog to dog. Some have early growth spurts then stop. Some grow very little early on then experiences a sudden growth spurt when they're past a year old. Others grow gradually following the puppy growth chart numbers Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppy Growth/Weight Chart - watch us grow and reach max size around 6-8 months when they may start filling in but will not get any taller/longer. Since yours is off the charts of a "standard" sized yorkie according to the AKC and YTCA, you won't find it on there, but the general rule of thumb would be to multiply week 12 weight by 2. So yours may be around 12 lbs full grown. It all depends on genetics, diet and exercise. |

| I agree with the doubling of the weight at 12 weeks, so a 12 pound adult weight is a good estimate. Yorkies belong to the AKC toy group, so the seller is correct about the term toy, although the pup exceeds the AKC standard for weight (7 lbs).
