| New Member Hi everyone, my name is Lisa and I am a new member. I joined this group because I recently became very, very interested in one day owning a Yorkie. I can't until I know I am financially stable enough to care for one and to have a home to raise it in. Until then I plan to do my research so that when it comes time I will be very well educated and ready to become a Yorkie parent. So far all I know is that I want a small to standard sized female Yorkie puppy as young as I can get it with a health guarantee from a Pure Blood Yorkie breeder in or around my area. I will travel at the most a few hours on my search for my baby. I am so ready, but yet I must wait for awhile so I am just going to make do until that day. Please let me know any helpful info you can provide. I know about some of the health issues that Yorkie's can have but I don't mind. I will take care of my puppy no matter what it takes. I definitely plan to get pet insurance for my little one. Advice on that would be great as well as correspondence with breeders in North Carolina. It would be appreciated. Let me know~ |

| Hello Lisa Michelle and Welcome to Yorkie Talk!! This is a fun site with great people. When you're ready to start looking search the breeders section for a breeder close to you. They;ll be able to help you find the little girl of your dreams. Until then, hang out and enjoy the site...

| I too am new to this site. I just came across the site tonight. I have had 3 Yorkies in the past 30 years. The first one, Misty, lived to be 16. What a sweetie she was. My 2nd one, Kayla, so small and precious, lived to be 14. She really tugged at my heart strings. I just lost her July 15th. She was the light of my life. My 3rd and newest one, Abby is 5 months old. She is such a little tomboy but a real cutie. So very much different than my last little girl. I'm happy I found this site and look forward to meeting other Yorkie lovers. |
