| How old is she? she does look a little thin like my Rainbow does as well. But Rainbow is young and should fill out.

| How old is she? And what does she eat? Is she playful? doe she have any symtoms of illness? Those are some questions a vet might ask you if youtook her in. In my opinion, I think she looks thin. She could put on some lbs and fill out more. However, If you are very concerned take her into your vet and let him do a full examination.

| I'm far from an experienced Yorkie owner, I've only had mine for 11 weeks. I do think your baby looks on the thin side though. Have you asked a vet?

| She does look rather thin but sometimes hard to know from a picture. Since you are asking you must think that is the case so I would take her in to be checked out by a good vet. You might google ' liver shunt' and see if she has any of those symptoms since sorry to say it is common in yorkies before six months old. Don't want to worry you but it's good to have checked. I wish I knew how old she was and yet I have heard of liver shunt after six months it's more often before. Hope she's ok and do let us know . Hugs, Joan

Thor's Human Donating Member | Okay, I'm not an expert, and I can't tell for sure from just one picture... but why should I let that stop me from giving an opinion? She looks okay to me. Her back looks long and narrow, but there is no major indentation at the waist, which I would expect with a seriously underweight dog. Have you touched her? You should be able to feel her ribs, but they shouldn't be jutting out. Her coloring is really nice! I say go for it! ___________________ What's that thing in front of her face? | Is she AKC? Does the breeder give at least a one yr. health guarantee (at 2yrs old) I would want proof that she is 2 yrs. old. Tell the breeder you are concerned about her weight and wondered if you could have the name of her vet. Remember the cost of purchase of a healthy dog is nothing compared to the cost of upkeep and if they are not well, it will break your heart and your pocketbook for sure. My advise is take another 6 mos or year to find one that you feel more confident about. I think you are VERY smart to ask these questions. Just my opinion. Good Luck

| Is that the only picture you've been sent of the girl? I agree that you need to talk to the owner some more and possibly to the dog's vet if at all possible. I think she looks a little thin but it's hard to tell by that one picture and I'm comparing her to Tatum who is pretty solid.

| Hello , She does look a little thin, but if she is healthy then thats probably her bone stucture, My little guy is very thin also, he has been vet checked and is very healthy, Just thin, I agree with everone else, if she is acting normal and not sick then she is probably going to be small framed, I would ask for more photos of her though Good luck and congrats if you get her
