| just thinking I just received my free sample of minksheen shampoo. i was reading the flyer that came with it about eucalyptus as one of the ingredient use to repel ticks and fleas..our house is surrounded by eucalyptus trees...charlie's potty area is also right by one of the tree. Does this mean that his chance of getting fleas and ticks are less? |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | IDK, but If you want to send me some of it that would be great...lol... I know I love the smell. I use the oil for my husbands snoring. I put it under his nose..and it helps...I would think your pup was lucky, and maybe he'll be spared the annoyance of fleas and tics.

| I would think so. I've read of putting eucalyptus essential oil on dog bedding and collars before.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I've read conflicting information about the use of eucalyptus oils and pets. Some information says it's poisonous, others recommend it's usage. I wonder if it's one of those things that is safe is small amounts and depending upon how it's used?

| I'm not sure but I would think it'd be OK if you only used a few drops and it wasn't applied directly to the skin.
