| My grandpa stepped on my 3 month yorkie =( my yorkie woke up saturday morning happy running around. he always run towards my bed and tries to stand at the edge of it. like this well while my yorkie was running around, my grandpa came in the house with his working boots. He didn't know I have a dog yet and Cody was right behind him. My grandpa took a stepp back and accidently stepped on him. Cody was screamed twice then stayed quiet but his body was paralyzed on the floor. his body was bent vertically up and one hand sticking out while the other one was curled in. I ran out to see what happened and he just laid there withouth making a suond. I was so scared I brought him to my room on my bed and he was still in the same position. A couple mintes later we tried to move his head back to normal but it just went straight up. A few more minutes later my grandpa tried to put him on the floor to see if any changes and his head was normal but his legs weren't moving and he ended up rolling around the floor. He then could sit up but cuoldn't move his legs. He puked two times... and when he could finally move his legs he started to pace around in circles. the rest of the weekend he just stayed quiet in his bed. Barely ate. Today he finally ate and his tail is alittle up but hes reaction is very slow. He doesn't come to you when you call him anymoer, just runs away.. his hind legs are not the same, they look dislocated but he can run and walk just without putting pressure. when you try to make a sound he looks around for it and he bumps into the wall alot. when you touch his butt, he freaks out and runs away. I don't know what to do I'm so sad... Im bringing him to the vet soon at 1 today.. |

| He hasn't seen a vet all weekend? This is a medical emergency. There was a case on YT not long ago that was very similar. Sadly, the pup ended up dying. He needs to see a vet now. I hope he is okay.

| I totally agree with the others, he needs to see a vet desperatley, poor little baby! Accidents do happen, but he should have seen a vet immediatley. Moving him could have caused extra damage. I hope he will be ok. |

| yep, this is an emergency, no matter where you place him, on the bed, on the floor, its not gonna heal him. he needs medical attention right away. a friend of mine had a similar case about three years ago, they got a brand new yorkie pup, her husband stepped on the pup in the middle of the night when he got up to get some water. they rushed her to the ER but unfortunately the pup didn't make it!
