No Longer a Member | Stuffed toys? I have a bunch of stuffed toys for my yorkies and they love them, but they will chew on them until they rip open and eat the stuffing. I don't know what it is...they love paper and stuffing I want to get some of the plastic squeak ones since they love the squeaking sound. Are plastic toys okay? |

| there are squeaking rubber toys you can get at petco, petsmart etc. that are great but mine also tear these apart so I have to watch him closely. I found a speciality store that had same stuffed animal toys made of thicker material (i think it is called chew guard) that he doesn't tear apart, they are more expensive (around 15.00) but I was spending a fortune on toys that only lasted a week or so.

| I would not get plastic or vinyl squeaky toys since they can have pieces chewed off eaily and swallowed, causing obstruction. Look for rubber or latex.
