| Hi Everyone... I'm so glad to be part of your Yorkie community! I've learn't so much from all of you. I'm looking forward to sharing my puppy experiences. I have the opportunity to get a 16 week old female yorkie pup. She's good natured, paper trained, shots, etc. She's 3pds, and adorable! My concern is, I work all day, I live alone (by choice) God knew what he was doing when he made men, but I prefer a puppy. Should I get two puppies for companionship reasons, or just give the one alot of quality time when I'm home? It's a dilemma thats eating at my heart. Need advice ASAP... |

| Well, I have two (7mo apart) and would say if you are thinking of ever getting another one, it's just as easy to train 2 as 1. the only draw back is the cost and the vet bills, heaven knows they don't eat that much. My two are each others best friends. If one has to go to the vet and the other stays home-that one at home cries all the time the other one is gone. Actually Bubba, who is the older one, helped housebreak the younger one, Sissy (monkey see, monkey do). Do they fight? Oh, yes, but it's like an argument and they tell on each other. If one has something they should not have, there is a lot of barking and running to mommy.Welcome and good luck with you new baby(s).

| If you are able financially to consider 2 I say go for it. They are so fun to watch playing although I think mine just sleep when I'm not home. Welcome to YT!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome!! I always had one dog at a time when I was working and they adjusted to our schedule and had great lives. Now that I am no longer working I have 4 and it is really cool to watch then interact and snuggle together. If you can afford 2 I would do that as it is nice if you are gone during the day that they have each other, if not a singleton works too. Keep us posted.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | I always believe that a dog should also have a companion...of the fur kind. If you spend that much time away from home, the dog is going to have anxiety issues. I would get two. You'll also have to deal with training two and either crating or closing off a room/kitchen so they won't have to be cooped up all day. Good luck!

| Welcome to YT. If you can afford it I'd go for two. The one may get really lonely with you gone for long periods of time.
