| You need to get the regular cosequin capsules, break the capsule open and poor the appropriate amount over the food. It would really be a good idea to get the baby on something like that. When is surgery scheduled?

| yes, Dolly's been on Dasuquin (a new and improved version of Consequin) for years per vet recommendation, and she is not even 3 lbs. but I would suggest to talk to your vet first.

| i found this info on site Coesquin® Hip & Joint Support Plus Bonelets can be given all at once or divided throughout the day. Cosequin Bonelets can be administered as a treat or crumbled onto your pet's food. Number of bonelets can be increased at any time depending on your pet's needs.

Weight 30 lbs and under - 1 chewable tablet daily
Weight 31-60 lbs - 2 chewable tablet daily
Weight over 60 lbs - 3 chewable tablet daily
Store at room temperature with bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children. IN order to ensure freshness, on non-toxic desiccant is included in this bottle. so mine is 3~4 lbs. i guess i give him 2/10 pill ? or the whole pill also got him anti-bug shampoo |

| on the bottle we have.. it says 15lbs and under 1/2 pill. Avie is 6lbs. since the blue bottle is the regular strength and not the double strength.. i give her half a pill as she has grade 2/3 luxating patellas in both legs!

| We use Cosequin Regular Strength for dogs up to 24 pounds. I only use the sprinkle on capsules because I prefer the ingredients. If you are unsure of the correct dose, Nutramax will be able to help you. If they aren't giving you answers (which they should), your vet can call and talk to one of their reps or vets. I see no reason to give anything double strength to a Yorkie because the regular dose is probably more than double what they need already. That said, glucosamine is very safe and may not hurt a thing. There are different charts online and variations in dosing. Some vets even use the cat dose for small dogs, so it is really best to talk to your vet and/or the company.
