| Roxy Got Spayed !! I don't know who is more scared, her or me ! I dropped Roxy off at the vet this morning and I actually cried. I have had many many dogs and taking them to the vet to be spayed meant I could clean the floors without the dogs underfoot. I have done diddly squat today ! I did however watch the clock to call at 2pm to check on her, and the vet said she did beautifully. I am going to pick her up around 5pm. I washed her blankie and made some rice and chicken for her if she will eat. I did my hair, and nails. I'm all ready to get her. I'm nervous about what to look for after I bring her home. I have never had a lil one like her and she's my baby. Any help on that? Oh yeah, I have talked to my husband 3 times today letting him know she's ok and all done. This is a dog he said he didn't think he would like......he was right......he loves her... |

| so happy your baby did well and is coming home soon it is amazing how much we love our little ones! i remember dropping miss buffey and bentley off to get spayed and neutered....i had tears too and worried all day...miss buffey did great though and when i picked her up, the vet was making jokes about how lively and energetic she was right after she woke up ... the spay did not slow her down at all and she did great! i hope your baby does just as well once she comes home

| Oh, good news about Roxy. whew, now you can put that behind you. I've had animals all my life and was never so worried as when Gracie Ruth went through her spaying. They kept her over night, that's just the SOP. When I got her the next day all she wanted to do was sleep on me. So we spent the rest of that day and half of the next just cuddling on the couch. At noon she decided she was cured, leaped up and started terrorizing Boo. Lucky for me, G's no Drama Queen, but she is all tomboy.

| Well we are home. She peed on the way inside. She even ate a small ammount. She hasn't drank yet. Now, how do I get her to leave her stitches alone? She seems to have come through the ordeal pretty well and the vet said she's extreamly healthy. Talk about God being on my side today and her's. It's like 0 outside tonight so I'll be real carefull........sunny central new york LOL..... |

| I'm so glad she's home. Hopefully she'll ignore her stitches. If not try doing different things to distract her.

| I have to tell you my 7 month old , Honey, was spayed a couple of weeks ago. The next morning she was back to normal. Thats the bad part because the vet wanted her to keep calm for the first 2 weeks. Has she ever had a Yorkie?!!! I had to put a onesie on her to keep her off of her stitches. I just cut a hole for her tail. Worked like a charm. Good luck and give her a gentle hug from Honeysuckle Rose. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I don't know, Prada's stiches were nice and dry, a bit red but that was it, and I did not see any blood. I would just keep the onesie on and keep an eye on them. hugs, cArmen in nj |
