| I'm Upset! Wish I'd know of this site sooner! Hi I am a new yorkie mommy and I so wished I would have known of his site sooner. I have read so much about the puppies being 12 weeks before they are let go to their new homes and now I am upset with the breeder that my husband got her from. She was a surprise Christmas present for me and he brought her home to me on Christmas Eve. My Alli didnt turn 6 weeks till Christmas Day!!! She seems to be doing ok but I am worried every minute about her and the hypoglycemia and training and you name it! To top all of that of the breeder is supposedly a "groomer" too and they knew when he was picking her up and they hadnt bathed her or anything and she smelled dirty! No bery good advertisement for their business! I will not be using them for anything! Thank goodness now that I have found yall! Everyone wish me luck in my journey! |

| Welcome to YT Sounds like Alli is fortunate to be out of the breeder's home and with a loving mom. There's tons of info here and I'm sure someone will be able to answer any questions/concerns you come up with. Good luck!

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk!!! Don't worry, everything will be alright, just make sure you find a good vet, and have her checked out. This site is so informative; you'll meet a lot of nice people here with lots of experience but you probably won't get a lot of sleep because you'll be online all of the time. lol!! | Welcome to YT. I agree with Eva that it sounds better for her to be with you and at least you know about hypoglycemia so you can be on the look out for that. I'm sure if you search YT you'll find alot of other people who have been in the same situation and been offered lots of useful advice to help them with such a young baby. Congratulations on your new little baby girl.

| First Congratulation on your new puppy and Welcome to YT! It's never too late I didn't get started learning all about Yorkies until my Buffy was 8 yr old and she is now 11 1/2. I had already learned alot just by living our lives...lol Don't be upset with your DH, even when we know all you need to know about breeders, yorkies or new puppies at the end you just never know what issues will come up until they are grown..... just like children and adults. Do read as much as possible and ask lots of questions, there is almost always someone here at any time day or night....... Good Luck,
