| Hello, new to the forums and have some questions Hi everyone, I’m new to this forum. My family and I are looking to adopt or purchase a male yorkie puppy. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of or has bought any puppies from a Mr J Yoder who is located in Middleburg, PA. Their web site is http://www.yoderpets.com. Just wanted to check if anyone had any advice, before we go out and see them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if anyone knows any families looking to sell any puppies in north east PA, please let me know. Thanks |

| Mr. Yoder's name is on the USDA "puppymill" list. Please do not buy a puppy from him: http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/ListA2006.pdf Pennsylvania is the Puppymill Capital of the East so you will have to be very careful. I would start with the breeders on the Yorkshire Terrier Club breeder referral list: Yorkshire Terrier Club of America About The Club |

| Please continue to do your research on finding a reputable breeder. Do not buy from a puppymill - there are so many reasons why, including you may purchase a dog with severe health issues days, or mths down the road. There is an incredible wealth of information on YT about finding a quality puppy & breeder. YT also has many reputable breeders who have puppies available throughout the year.
