| I left my poor baby at the vet and feel like such a bad mommy. Baxter had a laundry list of things to be done at the vet today. Starting with cleaning teeth and pulling remaining baby teeth. And he had such a bad night because I free-feed him and had to take away his food at 7:00. I made sure he ate good before then. I hope to go pick him up at 3:00 but he was shaking like a leaf when I left. I feel terrible. I know the folks at the vet well enough that they probably would have let me stay and even watch what they did. I should have taken the day off and stayed with him. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | oh I know exactly how you feel, I just droped my little Prada at the Vet's to be spayed today. she loves it there because my oldest son works there but she hates the cages, since she has pretty much free reign of the upstairs in my house.. . I feel so bad for both of our babies, but look at the bright side, when they get this over with, they are going to feel A LOT better.. best of luck with your baby today..I will say a prayer for him with the ones for my little Prada.. hugs, cArmen in nj |

| You're not a bad mom for taking your dog to the vet. You would be a bad mom if you didn't.

| I'm sorry you are stressed out about leaving Baxter. We all go through that when we have to leave our babies for a procedure. You are doing what's best for him. He will be sooo happy to see you and I'm sure he'll have lots of hugs coming his way. He is lucky to have a nice mommy that takes good care of him.

| I just talked to the vet and he is awake and can leave at any time. I'm going to pick him up shortly and bring him back to the office for a while. I hope he will be a little groggy so he will behave while he is here. I feel so much better just knowing he is awake. |
