| sorry havent posted sorry its been so long since i posted. A lot to let all in on. So i guess good news first. We had a litter of 5 beautiful healthy babies. All was fine for them but not so good for my mommie dog. We went to the vet less than 8 hours after she gave birth because that is when the vet opened. She had retained atleast 2 of the sacks and vet was informed and we were given a shot and meds to take at home. All pups checked out fine and tails were docked on that day. Our first baby was a boy weighing in at 3oz the next three were girls each weighing 2oz and our final baby was a boy weighing under an oz. We continued our visits to the vet because mommie continued to get worse instead of better we were given lots of diff meds to take however she didnt make it. our babies were four weeks old when Sassy passed away. I had to raise the babies by hand. All did well and were happy and health little ones. Each was placed in a family members home when they were around 7 weeks old. We had a slight jealousey problem with daddy. We lost one of our little girls at around 4 months old but was not able to determine as to why. We also lost our big boy at around 7 months from parvo although he had been given his shots the vet was unable to save him. I am proud to report that i still have daddy and a baby in my home and all are well. My mother has the other two in her home and they ( Miley and Baby Boy ) are doing fine. We have even adopted a new puppy (holly) she is half german sheppard and half boxer. She gets ran over by the two yorkies. So thats our story as it stands today. |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | I'm so sorry this happened to you. The babies you have left should make you smile each day. I'm glad you have that. My thoughts are with you and you family. It is so hard to lose a loved one.
