| on the road so we are in the process of moving across country we started in Washington state and will end up in mississippi by next week today was day two on the road and are currently in N Dekota lexi has been great on the road, only complant she is very needy at this point. if we even get out to pump gas she starts to cry, my husband and i are in seperate cars so she rides with me in the a.m and my husband in the afternoon. we make plenty of stops, and take walks. We have picnic lunches and try to play with lexi as much as possible. She is a little finikie about eating but is still eating and drinking. She is also pottying regualarly so i am not worried. She is very excited in the evenings to play too but her eyes are watering like crazy, does anyone know y? wish us luck back on the road early in the a.m.

| I'm glad to hear that Lexi is doing well - I just knew she would. We just returned from a road trip with Rowdy and he was soo sooo sooooo good! I don't know why her eyes are watering??? Is she sleeping a lot or not? If not, is she in the sun alot? (I"m grasping at straws here). Do you or your husband smoke? If so, in the contained vehicle, that might cause watering. I don't have any other ideas about the eye watering - I bet someone else will though. |

| Where are you going to wind up in Mississippi? I'm currently stationed in Biloxi, right on the coast. Can't wait to take Chuy to the beach! |

| Here's the post from Lexi'sMom - she was traveling to Mississippi and was in No. Dakota on Aug. 25th - I sure hope she and Lexi and her family are safe and I hope they check in when they can. Also on this thread was a post from tbellhopkins who said he/she was stationed in Biloxi right on the beach - a terrible place to be yesterday. It may be awhile till we hear from these two, but I sure hope we do! |

| hello we are doing just fine. we are staing the night in missouri....waiting for the rain to clear and trying to make a game plan on traveling into MS. We have orders to report to Columbus AFB by tomm. We keep calling the base to see if we should still report but only get a recording. We are worried about road conditions, traffic, flooding, a place to stay when we get there and all the other things that go along with moving. All of our belongings got to Mississippi on tuesday so we are not sure if it made it or not. We hope so bc all we have then is the suitcase that was in our car and lexi's stuff. You know the important stuff, can't leave home without the puppy toys ha ha. All we can do is hope and pray. Thanks for thinking of us. I know another member is stationed in biloxi (SP) and i pray she and her family are okay. We are fine and so is lexi. In response the the eye tearing...it is still happening and neither of us smoke, but some of you may be right about the air conditioning in the car. Thanks for the thoughts and advice. love you all and be safe laura and lexi
