| Play dates Hey Yorkie Lovers, I am the Personal assistant (and new to KY) to a 6 month old boy by the name of Broden. He’s looking to meet someone in his area of Lexington, KY to get together for play dates. He is such a little guy (2lbs) that when I took him to the dog park he was overwhelmed. Not afraid just a little confused. The bigger puppies had a tendency to step on him and knock him down. And the bigger dogs, well lets just say I was on edge that he may look like a chew toy!!!! Well he was not pleased lol lol He spent more time jumping on me or the other humans (<: Boy…but when I took him to the park directly across the street he just ran and fetched his ball and if i didn't know better I think he was smiling all the way!! So if anyone wants or knows of someone with a small or gentle dog in the area that wants a play date please let me know. Or if there is a puppy park that would be great. Also if anyone knows of a groomer I would appreciate it. I had considered Petsmart until I witnessed a Cocker Spaniel in trauma for some reason and he was taken to the back and I"m sure they sedated him. He was so loopy 5 min later. And as I watched further I came to realize they are groomers in training. I would like Broden to go to a seasoned professional. So if anyone has a recommendations for a groomer in Lexington please advise. Anyhoot thanks from me and Broden for any response. |
