| How do I get my Furbaby to wear his snow booties? Biggie got some snow booties for Christmas. We have been dealing with a ton of salt during our walks around the neighborhood. I tried to put them on him this morning and he looked miserable. Poor thing could not walk straight and seemed disoriented. I felt sooo bad..I had to take them off! Does anyone have any tips on how I can get him to accept his new booties? |

| Thank you!! I'll take it slow..I'll start with one on and give him tons of treats and see how we do. Maybe we'll be able to wear them outside in a couple weeks. |

| Ya just let them wear it and run around in the house. Sooner or later, they will get use to it and will learn that it actually keep them warmer than without booties.

Thor's Human Donating Member | yasminz1, is your dog wearing the booties now? I just had a similar experience. I got Thor some Muttlikers, and the poor little guy could barely stand up. He fell over a couple times and seemed really stressed out. I felt kind of awful for putting them on, which in itself was something of an ordeal. I just ordered Pawz Disposables, since those are supposed to be thinner. I guess I'll wait until I get both sets and return the ones he hates more. |

| Good question. We tried little booties on our baby and he was not happy!!! I walked him today and he kept lifting up his paw so I walked him around the block holding him. I can hardly wait for the warmer weather ... he really does love his walks. I was thinking as I was walking I wish they made booties that he would wear. We tried several kinds and he wasn't having it!!! |

| Mine don't wear shoes but I remember reading a post that said to put 2 on at a time (on opposite sides - one front leg and one back leg) and then alternate to help them get used to them. Maybe it'll help?
