| BIG owl in my yard! The other night I was in my living room and I heard an owl... I went out on the deck and I heard what sounded like a huge owl in my yard! I have heard them before but from a distance! I knew we had hawks and I am so careful with my babies but this was freaky!!! I called my neighbor behind my house because she lets her little dog out buy itself. She was on the phone with me and neither of us could believe how loud this thing was. I was telling my sister (who works at a nature center) and she told me that owl poo looks like dark goo, fur and bones. I saw this in my yard a month or two ago and couldn't tell if it was throw up, poo or a rotting animal. I guess we got OWLS!!!!

| Yep, it sounds like you definitely have owls........ and I am sure that it knows that you have furbutts....... so please take extra precaution!!! I don't know, but I do believe that there are ways to keep owls away.... you may want to do some research!

| I have a small enclosed play pen type potty area in my yard, I stay right with them... and I just put another one under my deck for when it snows so they can walk with out deep snow. I figure if I know theres an owl out I will take them under the deck. I carry them so I am very careful don't worry!!!
