| should i rehome ?? :( I love my dog to death but he seems happier with many people or other dogs. I live in an apartment by myself and almost feel like I'm just not enough for him. I mean, I defintely spoil him and I work at home. I sometimes think he'd be happier with a family with kids b/c there are more people around. When I've taken my ted to my parents house who have another dog or friends house, he seems to like more people around. Am I being selfish b/c i live alone and got a dog for company?

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | No, I don't think you should and I certainly don't think you are selfish. A million people get dogs for company. Just because he likes to see/play/spend time with other dogs/people, doesn't mean he doesn't love spending time with you. Is there a dog park in your area? or a meet up group? Don't feel bad. And I really don't think you should feel like you have to rehome him. Hugs! EDIT: That's a great suggestion from Ashley!

| Oh, If you work at home why are you thinking about this? Yes, dogs like things going on and esp like being with other dogs but that doesn't mean you have to give yours up Is he lonely or is he acting depressed? Why don't you make it a weekly or a twice a week treat where you take him somewhere where he CAN be exposed to other dogs and playtimes

| He is so lucky to have you all to himself, especially working at home. If he could talk, I'm sure he'd tell you that. Yes, it's fun to have social outings, but then it's also nice to come home and be top dog. Enjoy your companionship, and since you are in an apartment I don't know if getting another dog would necessarily be good. Just take him on outings and playdates once in a while.

| Oh Ellen, You're a great mom...You work from home and spend alot of time with Ted E. I agree with the others maybe a playmate would be good for you both. Think how lonely you'd both be if you did'nt have each other!! Higs to you both, If you need to talk pm me,

| There are so many things you could do to entertain the little guy! I have found lots of games online to play with my pups, as well as books of things to do with your little dog. I am sure he is very happy to have you around during the day for company. I don't think you should give him up!

| Hi, I have a 9 month old girl, and also live in a apt, and home most of the time. My Pup is friendly, loves people , and is always so happy when someone comes over. I can understand how u feel. however, I think your pup is very happy to be with you! You have had him since he was a very young pup, and to him this is his home, with you ! Our little guys adjust, and as long as they are getting plenty of attention and love then , I feel they are happy ! My teenaged son gives our Suzi lots of attention too, so she is use to having us there for her. In fact, Suzi looks out the window at us when we leave, and i feel so bad. But, she is ok, and again so happy when we get home. I'd definately keep your pup, becasue this is what he is use to. Your attention and compaionship is what matters the most .

| Have you considered getting a kitten. Kittens and puppies that are raised together become good friends and playmates, and you can usually get kittens for free. |

| I def dont think you should rehome him!! I would consider getting him a friend whether its a cat or dog. Juicy loves cats when we go to my boyfriends moms house she loves playing with her three cats.
