| I feel horrible... I was just doing dishes, and Miles had his front paw on the dishwasher door when it was open. I didn't see it, and I put the door up and accidentally slammed his paw in the door. He started yelping and I quickly opened it up. He was hesitant to walk on it for the first minute, but now he seems fine. I feel so awful. He's walking on it just like normal, not limping or anything. Should I wait and see what happens, or take him to the vet? Ugh, it was like a punch in the stomach...I hate seeing him hurt, let alone it being my fault... |

| I'd watch it for today If it was hurt badly or fractured he'd definitely be favoring it and won't allow you to touch it without a response watch for swelling and sensitivity watch him walking and playing It sounds like he's ok I know.... I've stepped on my guys feet and that yelp makes me feel terrible

| I'd say that it probably scared you more than him. As long as he's walking fine and there's no swelling or tenderness he'll be fine. Give him lots of loving. |

| Ahhh, I know what you mean about feeling so bad. I'm sure he's fine. Like another post said, scared you more than him.

| Don't feel bad. That stuff happens to all of us. I think his yelp was more out of fear than anything. How old is he? |

| accidents happen... I am glad he is ok ! I think as long as he is able to walk on all 4rs without any pain or favoring his paw he will be ok.

| Yep, he was scared. I think they have pretty pliable bones when they are that young. And I forgot to say how cute he is. Could you post more pictures of him? |

| I'm sure he's fine. If he was hurt, he would be limping. Just watch him a little extra, I'm sure you just startled him.
