| New member with big Yorkie Hi - I'm a new member to YorkieTalk and I have a large Yorkie. Would you believe 14 lbs !? The vet says he is all Yorkie and we had no idea he would get this big. His parents are small and his 2 sisters are small (4 lbs and 7 lbs). Does anyone else have a dog this big? Of course if we had known he would get this big we probably wouldn't have taken him but he is 2 yrs old now and we love him. I'm wondering if anyone has a bigger Yorkie. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | My Harry boy is 8 pounds and we love him, I feel that since he is a bit bigger he can do more, we go for longer walks and he can play with other bigger dogs, he seems to be stronger and healthier than my friend's little one. My girl is going to be a a chunk too, she is 6 months and tips the scale at 6.5 pounds already.. I love the size.. hugs, cARmen in nj |

| Welcome to YT! We have lots of members who have larger Yorkies ... they call them "Teapots"! They are gorgeous and lots of people prefer the larger ones. Our Toto is only 5 lbs. and after we had her for 5 minutes, we didn't care if she grew as big as a St. Bernard!! We just love her. I am looking forward to seeing your baby and hearing all about him!

| I have a Big Yorkie too Hello...I have a big yorkie too. He weighed in at 16.4 lbs yesterday at the vet. Just more to love. He is the sweetest dog I've ever had. I am glad he's a big boy. I know a lady that bought a brother and a sister from the same litter and the girl ended up weighing 4 lbs and the boy ended up weighing 13 lbs. And both the parents were small. That's why I've always heard you never know what size your yorkie will be until they get older.
