| Potty in her Sleep Mt daughter was holding Taylor, (10 weeks) while she was sleeping, all of a sudden she peed on her. I have never had a puppy pee in her sleep. I am very concerned. My daughter said she woke up because my husband yelled (watching the dolphin jets game) and just peed. Could there be something wrong? Thank you for any help. Tami <>< |

| So the puppy was startled awake? She probably got the pee scared out of her! If I read that right, then I'm serious. Some dogs, especially young puppies will pee if they are excited or scared. If she pee's in her sleep, then maybe I would be worried and talk to the vet. I'm sure she's due to go in soon for shots..right? Talk to him then, unless she appears to have an infection that is causing this. Wishing you all the best.

| So your hubby yelled while watching the game and startled the pup awake? And she peed? SHOOT! *I'D* pee, too! If this isn't a habit, I wouldn't worry about it ... |

| Yes she goes in on the 10th. That should of read "my daughter". sorry about the misspelled words. She seems to be acting just fine. I grilled my daughter to see what happened exactly. I think she was startled awake, but I will be watching her very close. Can you tell me what I should be looking for. If there is something wrong. Tami <>< |

| If it was the one time and she likely was startled by the noise I'd just keep and eye out and bring it up when you see the Vet But if there is a new occurrence before then bring her in early sleep incontinence is a sign there is something wrong
