Is she griffonshire? Last February we adopted a puppy whose mother was full blooded yorkie and father unknown. Many people have guessed her to be a corgi/yorkie mix but today I took her to have her nails clipped and stuff, and they entered her on system as a griffonshire, which I had never even heard of. I came here searching for pics of what that might look like, as I am very curious. I gave 50.00 for her and don't care one way or the other what she truly is as she's smart and cute and friendly, but would enjoy your feedback on what you see. LOL I am attaching some pics. She's kind of long...and her front feet are kind of bow-legged looking...tail curls over her back. She was a year old on Thanksgiving and has never required a haircut.

There is no way you can tell just by looking. If it's really important for you to know there is dna testing available

She's adorable..and she does remind me of those Brussels Griffon dogs...wouldn't she be bigger if she was mixed with Corgi? they are pretty big compared to yorkies and it looks like she is only a little bigger than a yorkie? Thanks for sharing the pics....she's definitely a keeper! deb

I googled "border terrier yorkie" and pulled pics that look very much like our pup, so I think that's pretty close probably. She's a little heavier set than the pics that came up look to be, but we all know that any time 2 breeds mix you can get several variations even in one litter of pups. I agree she's cute whatever she is. She's funny too. Has this big dog mentality wrapped up in a tiny body...will go after our neighbors big bird dog if she gets out loose and sees it. LOL She's great with kids though...not mean...just wants to be boss, even over our 13 yr old husky mix. LOL
