| split tongue? ok, when the vet was checking out bailee,she noticed her tongue was spilt.Is this common? how did it happen?

| I googled it and could only find that a split tongue is caused by an injury like from eating out of a can. What did your vet say? |

| they vet wasnt sure if it was if it was a genetic flaw or an earlier injury...i didnt get her from the best breeder so the can inccident is highly possible...my poor baby,first kennel cough now this...

| Poor baby. Does she have any trouble eating? I would imagine if it was genetic it made it difficult for her to nurse. |

| i dont think it hurts her any, shes eats fine and has never made and indication of it bothering her, it has healed so its not like its a fresh cut or anything,I tried to post a pic but it is too large, my bf is trying to size it down now
