| any suggestions? i decided to go ahead and get my little yorkie girl fixed. she is actually still at the vet as we speak, but they said i could pick her up in a couple hours. is there anything i should know about caring for her? she had the surgery first thing this morning so i'm sure she'll be pretty sleepy and out of it most of the night? i just don't really know what to expect..and i am kind of nervous. |

| If you don't want her to wear the e-collar, you can get her a baby onesie instead. Some still do mess with their incision and will require the collar though. She may not want to eat til tomorrow or pee. She will probably just be very tired tonight. Ellie could barely stand the night of her spay...

| they will probably tell you that you can ONLY leash walk for 7 days, keep the incision site nice and clean and DRY, no licking at it, and to just keep her low key for the next week. Fiona was pretty grogy when she came home, but did fine. Offer her a little bit of food, if she holds it down, give her some more. She will be fine! Good Luck!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I agree with Ellie May, and those baby onesie's look adorable too, especially good since you can't bath them for a couple of weeks. Hope all goes well!

| My Pebby was a sleepy little mush the first night. By morning she was her old self again except she absolutly was not allowed to do stairs or jump around with Coco. We just babied her (more than usual). Just gave her little sips of water. Good luck! hope your baby has a speedy recovery COCO PEBBLES TRIXIE |
