| They have dog car seats. Check out ebay and just type in dog car seats. I think someone on the forum in another thread even posted a pictureof their baby in one! Hope this helps! |

| There are all sorts of carriers and "purses" too chooses from. They range in all prices as well. I have been looking as I am getting ready to get my yorkie. As I have found, I too suggested looking on ebay. They are much cheaper. I don't know because like I said, I haven't gotten mine, but I thought I would seat belt mine in while in the carrier. Maybe we could get some input about that from experienced owners!

| I have both. I have a car seat that hangs from the head rest for travelling in the car and I have a "purse" carrier for carrying Lexi with me. Depends on what your intentions are. If you only purchase the car seat, will you carry your dog once you reach your destination? If you only purchase the purse/carrier then the dog can't see out of the window while travelling. Although there's a strap to attach to a harness in the purse/carrier, I don't feel safe having Lexi in there while in the car. There's not a lot of room to move and the purse could go flying if we ever got into an accident or if I braked too hard. Personal preference I suppose. I couldn't do without both. Here is the car seat and the purse/carrier that I have. Last edited by Lexi's Mom; 02-04-2005 at 08:10 AM. |

| I was looking online at Petsmart. I noticed that they sell a carrier that turns in to a carseat. I'm Actually thinking of buying that. Because i was looking at SuperPet for a car seat but they did not have one. I ended up buying a carrier but then like i said i see the one on Petsmart's site and it only costs $5 more than the one i have. I paid $34 and the one i see online was $39 i think and it serves 2 purposes.!!!! BTW, that pricing is in Canada.

| Lexi's Mom. I have that same black/pink purse for Schatzie. However she has grown out of it so she has a bigger one now. And I am thinking you probably already saw my post last week and picture of Schatzie in her carseat that is exactly like the one you have too, hahaha But today I caution those with the same carseat. This has only happened once so far (couple days ago infact)...Schatzie was not in the mood that day to sit still or lie down in her carseat, she was twisting/turning and such and I looked over and she had somehow managed to get the little short lead that is attached to the carseat that attaches to her harness wrapped pretty tightly around her little neck. I had to immediatley pull over into the suicide lane and stop to release her. My heart was racing!!! I have used this carseat forever and never had a problem until now. So, just a warning to those who have one, keep and eye on them and NEVER EVER leave them alone in it for example if you have to run quickly into a store or whatever....
